Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Welding

Relativity Space is building rockets for commercial space programs and aiming to open new opportunities beyond the core mission. They are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Welding, to own the build of primary structures like fins, domes and transfer tubes, and partner with teams to improve manufacturing processes. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical, mechanical engineering, or other engineering discipline
• 5+ years progressive experience in welding
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong engineering fundamentals in statics, mechanics of materials, process improvement, and basic metallurgy
• Working knowledge of common manufacturing processes, tools, inspection methods, and GD&T
