Job Description
Reliance Health is a healthcare provider with a mission to make quality healthcare accessible in emerging markets. They are hiring a Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs, collaborating with teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure systems. This role will focus on optimizing performance, scalability, and security.
Requirements
- Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.
- Solid understanding of REST API design principles.
- Proficiency with MySQL and ORM frameworks (preferably Sequelize).
- Experience with asynchronous programming, error handling, and performance optimization in Node.js.
- Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, or Nomad).
- Experience with Git-based workflows (GitHub, GitLab, or similar).
- Experience with PHP/Laravel (for interaction with our legacy platform) is a plus.
