Job Description
Ikerian AG, formerly RetinAI Medical, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their team in London, England. The role focuses on optimizing their cloud infrastructure to meet customer needs, leveraging AWS services and principles. They are a fast-growing medical device software company focused on AI & data management for disease screening and monitoring.
Requirements
- Enhanced and maintained highly available, secure, and scalable AWS cloud environments.
- Manage and prioritise tasks in the cloud infrastructure backlog.
- Set up infrastructure monitoring and observability solutions.
- Assess new technologies for production readiness.
- Prepare documentation on cloud processes and architectures.
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Conduct POCs on new AWS services.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform preferable).
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Node.js.
- Good knowledge of cloud security principles (AWS WAF, GuardDuty, KMS, CloudTrail).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Basic understanding of cloud networking (VPC, Subnets, Load Balancing).
- Monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenSearch, ELK stack).
