Job Description
The Machine Operator II will serve our Water Heater Division, located in Montgomery, AL, and will be responsible for operating/monitoring a PLC, using a Human/Machine Interface, manually loading materials, and performing other assembly tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Operate/monitor a PLC
- Use a Human/Machine Interface (HMI) to adjust material requirements information
- Manually load materials from floor and part bins
- Orient tanks
- Perform other assembly tasks as needed
- Perform change over and make minor adjustments to equipment as needed
- Make minor adjustments, set ups and assist maintenance with major repairs to equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Maintain quality standards established for the process in accordance to specifications
- Must be able to work from written or verbal instructions
- Must maintain good housekeeping in work area
- Must observe all departmental safety requirements
