Maintenance Mechanic

Rich’s, a family-owned food company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for their Ft Erie, ON, and CA locations. This weekday 12-hour shift involves performing mechanical, electrical, and electronic repair, as well as preventative maintenance on plant equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, using automation systems, training new associates, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in food processing with troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
• Proficiency in basic mechanical, electrical and logic principles.
• Ability to train Associates in Maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, metalworking and general facilities/building maintenance.
• Awareness of and ability to follow Associate Safety guidelines.
• Awareness of and ability to follow GMP and Food Safety guidelines.
