Job Description
The Lead Estimator role within the Estimating MAnager directs estimating efforts for a specific division, ensuring competitive EPC proposals and providing technical guidance to estimators. This senior role involves coordinating project workflows, validating estimates, and acting as a technical escalation point for complex scenarios. The position focuses on supporting preconstruction planning and acting as a key technical resource.
Requirements
- 2-7 years of experience in electrical estimating, ideally in the electric utility or EPC sectors.
- Advanced proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, design packages, and construction specifications.
- Strong knowledge of construction productivity, equipment capabilities, labor planning, and market rates.
