Job Description
The Project Estimator plays a vital role in the Preparation of Complete EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) proposals for high-voltage electrical, renewable, and utility projects. They evaluate RFPs, develop detailed cost estimates, collaborate with team members, and provide essential supporting documentation. The role involves managing project execution, coordinating subcontractors, and contributing to continuous improvement of the estimating process.
Requirements
- Evaluate RFP packages to understand scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Prepare detailed EPC cost estimates for transmission, distribution, substation, etc.
- Coordinate with preconstruction team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Review client commercial terms and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a record of estimate basis throughout the proposal development.
- Conduct final bid submission reviews.
