Job Description
Rittal North America is seeking an Import Customs Specialist to ensure compliance with U.S. import and export regulations. The role involves managing customs documentation, coordinating with logistics partners, and assisting with classification and audits. It's a hybrid position requiring a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- Prepare and review import/export documentation.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers.
- Maintain records of international shipments and filings.
- Monitor trade regulations and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
- Assist in classification and valuation of goods.
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Logistics, and Legal teams.
