A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for assisting participants in the Day Center with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, and working as part of an interdisciplinary team to keep participants living as independently as possible.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with a frail, elderly or disabled population
- Current First Aid/BLS Certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use computer applications such as email, navigating the internet, using electronic timekeeping, and Electronic Health Records
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Knowledge of how to use and maintain medical equipment (adaptive, hoyer lift, etc.)
