Job Description
This position is for a Compressor Mechanic at a mechanical team within a company operating in the Delaware Basin. The role involves diagnosing and repairing compressor systems, ensuring equipment performance and reliability in the field. The role requires maintenance, rebuilding, commissioning, and emergency response skills.
Requirements
- Repair and maintenance of compressors and engines (250-1200 HP)
- Independent diagnosis of engine/compressor failures
- Intermediate computer skills (Caterpillar, Internet Explorer, Outlook)
- Rebuilds/overhauls compressors and engines under adverse conditions
- Electrical systems, controls, and unit control panel inspection
- Emergency response and repair of recurring issues
- Mechanical inspection using specialty tools
- Comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance
