Hardware Quality Engineer

Raytheon is seeking an Hardware Quality Engineer II providing engineering support and expertise to Raytheon Airborne Systems to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements. This position will provide education and knowledge on the use of quality resources in the administration of the Quality System.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two (2) years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with AS 9100 quality management systems or equivalent
• Experience in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions
• Experience with Six Sigma methodology (CORE) and tools such as lean manufacturing, diagnostic, process optimization and continuous improvement
• Experience with microelectronic fab, manufacturing and assembly
• Experience with calibration of tools and equipment
• Experience with both Excel and PowerPoint to create presentation
