Hardware Quality Specialist

We are seeking a Hardware Quality Specialist with hands-on hardware quality experience to become a key part of Operations Quality Team. Our team assures product and process quality with an emphasis on Product Compliance, Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement.

Requirements

• Inspect product to be complaint IPC/WHMA-A-620, JSTD-001, and MIL-HDBK-454
• Non-conform and disposition non-conforming material on the floor.
• Perform walk-back feedback to assemblers and inspectors when findings occur to reduce recurrence of escapes
• Participate in MFG DPT (Defect Prevention Team) meetings to ensure alignment on top priorities (using baseline data and future forecast) to drive containment, Root Cause Analysis and associated Corrective Action Implementation.
• Perform process audits, process walks, operator observations, and participate in MFG team discussions to drive process enhancements to reduce variation.
• Identify supplier escapes/issues and ensure proper containment and backflow to the Supplier Quality Management team.
• Perform verification and validation of improvements to understand effectiveness.
