The Senior Director of Strategy and Business Development will lead strategy development, business development, and strategic alliances for the division. They will be responsible for leading key strategic initiatives, strategic advisory, and process improvement across the organization in close partnership with Commercial, Analytical, and Corporate Strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years in financial services, management consulting (in the areas of strategic and business planning), or in corporate development/business development roles
- Bachelor’s degree: an advanced degree (Masters or MBA), preferred deep understanding of the credit ratings business, and debt capital markets / credit experience
- Strategy / management consulting experience
- Simultaneously managed multiple initiatives on strategy, corporate development, and new business development
- Experience leading strategic initiatives in a matrixed enterprise environment.
- Experience leading through mergers and acquisitions.
- Customer, investor and/or capital markets-facing experience
- Demonstrated ability to influence and effectively connect stakeholders at all levels across a highly matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated ability of executing initiatives including effectively prioritizing projects and meet aggressive, recurring deadlines.
- Advance knowledge of application of AI to financial services, emerging technologies, and experience developing technology strategies.
