Managing Privacy Counsel

Sabre is a technology company that powers the global travel industry. The Managing Privacy Counsel will join the Data Privacy Team under the Legal Department and will be responsible for leading the legal privacy team, advising on compliance with global, federal, state, and local data privacy laws, and driving enterprise privacy compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Senior legal leadership experience in a U.S.-based, globally operating company
• Privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CPIM)
• J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. state
• Deep knowledge of global privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, China PIPL, CPRA) in commercial contexts
• Proven success in regulatory program development and incident response
