Sacramento Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (SBHH) is a new facility located near downtown Sacramento. As the first newly constructed psychiatric hospital in Northern California in more than 30 years, this hospital offers 117 inpatient acute psychiatric beds, an outpatient treatment center, and a procedures clinic providing electro-convulsive therapy (ECT) and other interventional psychiatry services. We offer a full range of individualized treatment services, adults, and senior adults, including treatment for mental health and co-occurring (mental health and substance abuse) disorders. Additional services include mental health and substance abuse screening, assessment, crisis intervention, consultation, education, and individual and group counseling.
Job Description
The Director of Clinical Services will lead hospital-wide social services and activities therapy programming. This role involves building and managing programs, overseeing clinical staff, collaborating with physicians, and ensuring patient and family well-being. The position supports discharge planning, patient care, and performance improvement efforts. This is a leadership position with direct impact on patient well-being.
Requirements
- Must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California.
- Current Handle with Care (HWC) certification or obtain during initial orientation period.
- Current CPR certification or obtain during initial orientation period.
