Sacramento Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (SBHH) is a new facility located near downtown Sacramento. As the first newly constructed psychiatric hospital in Northern California in more than 30 years, this hospital offers 117 inpatient acute psychiatric beds, an outpatient treatment center, and a procedures clinic providing electro-convulsive therapy (ECT) and other interventional psychiatry services. We offer a full range of individualized treatment services, adults, and senior adults, including treatment for mental health and co-occurring (mental health and substance abuse) disorders. Additional services include mental health and substance abuse screening, assessment, crisis intervention, consultation, education, and individual and group counseling.
Job Description
Aurora Santa Rosa Hospital is seeking a Director of Public and Community Relations to oversee the organization's communication strategy, build relationships with the community, and ensure a positive public image. This role will focus on fostering positive relationships with local stakeholders, developing community programs, and advocating for community needs within the region. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavioral healthcare leadership and a commitment to building strong relationships with local and state government officials.
Requirements
- Degree in Public Relations, Healthcare Management, Nursing, Psychology
- Master's Degree preferred
- 5 years’ experience in Behavioral Health leadership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
