Job Description
SageCor Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator for their Maryland and Greater Washington D.C. area services. The company provides complete engineering services and System Engineering services to industries needing high-performance computing, data analytics, and information technology expertise. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, have ten (10) years of experience, or five (5) years with a Bachelor's, and 10 (10) years of system administration experience. Experience with UNIX and NT based platforms and familiarity with HPS systems is required.
Requirements
- Installation, configuration, and networking of UNIX and/or NT based platforms.
- Creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts.
- Maintaining system configuration files.
- Operating system knowledge and familiarity with UNIX or NT commands.
- Experience installing and configuring hardware and software packages.
- Understanding of operating systems and experience with Red Hat, SuSe, FC SAN, and Red Hat of SuSe storage.
