Sr. ML/Edge AI Firmware Engineer

Samsara is a pioneer in IoT Cloud solutions and is seeking a Sr. ML/Edge AI Firmware Engineer to develop and maintain on-device software for Video-Safety products. This remote position involves design and driving key architectural initiatives across complex areas, influencing a team and championing Samsara’s customer-centric culture. The role focuses on ensuring the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of the physical operations that power the global economy.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in embedded software development, preferably with a focus on embedded Linux systems.
• Strong experience in programming with Golang, C/C++, or similar.
• Proven experience defining and implementing scalable embedded software architecture.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to rigorous testing & validation practices.
