Job Description
Samsara is seeking a Sr. ML/Edge AI Firmware Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of video-based safety solutions. This remote position involves designing and implementing AI algorithms on the edge, collaborating with hardware teams, and mentoring other engineers. Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience in embedded software development, preferably with a focus on embedded Linux systems.
- Strong experience in programming with Golang, C/C++, or similar.
- Proven experience defining and implementing scalable embedded software architecture.
- Experience planning, designing, scoping, and delivering multi-team projects.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with edge camera systems, video capture, video encoding, and embedded AI technologies.
