Job Description
Samtec is seeking a Product Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on developing technology solutions for their customers. The role involves optimizing engineering processes, identifying problems, and ensuring product quality throughout the lifecycle. This individual will collaborate with marketing, sales, purchasing, and quality engineering teams to drive innovation and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
- 7 – 10+ Years’ Experience in a Management role of designing high frequency cable and connector.
- Strong leadership skills and self-starting.
- Experience leading and working with technical staff.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Experience in engineering design software (Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Experience in simulation software (FEA, CFD/thermal modeling, etc.) is preferred, but not required.
- Must have proficiency in GD&T, DFM, FMEA, and Six Sigma.
- Willingness to travel up to 4 weeks per year.
