Cook

We are seeking a passionate follower of Jesus and skilled cook who desires to make a meaningful impact in our community. The ideal candidate leads with a servant’s heart, inspires others, and can effectively rally teams of staff and volunteers to extend dignity and respect to individuals experiencing homelessness: one meal at a time.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of professional cooking experience
• Current Food Handler’s Card and valid California Driver’s License
• Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen operations, including supervising staff and volunteers
• Strong passion for serving others and making a meaningful impact in the community
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines
• Solid understanding of food hygiene practices and health and safety regulations
