Electrical Estimator

Sargent Electric Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to prepare estimates with minimal supervision, working closely with the Preconstruction Manager and Chief Estimator. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator, primarily in Commercial and Industrial applications, with knowledge of electrical work and materials used.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator
• Commercial and Industrial knowledge, with a focus on Healthcare / Mission Critical
• Ability to recognize/identify potential discrepancies and errors in documents and develop questions for timely response
• Ability to identify value engineering opportunities
• Ability to develop estimates based in various stages of design
• Knowledge/understanding of all electrical work and materials used
• Ability to set up and complete an ACCURATE takeoff and enter quantities in a neat, professional manner
