Estimator - Renewables

Sargent Electric Company is seeking an experienced Renewable Estimator to prepare accurate and timely project estimates for wind, solar, and battery storage projects. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating and/or managing projects, a comprehensive understanding of the construction process, and knowledge of civil, structural, and electrical scopes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator, 2-year technical degree, or relevant field experience.
• Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Construction knowledge
• Familiarity with estimating software.
• Proficient usage of Microsoft Office Suite (Word / Excel / Outlook / Power Point).
• Ability to recognize and identify potential discrepancies and errors in documents and develop questions for timely response.
• Ability to develop estimates based on various stages of design.
• Knowledge and understanding of all electrical work and materials used.
• Capability to accurately perform takeoffs and enter quantities in a neat and professional manner.
