Job Description
Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer 2 to apply their knowledge of materials, structural analysis, and structural steel design. The role involves working on power transmission modifications and upgrades, investigating structural issues, and preparing technical specifications. The position offers flexibility with potential remote work options.
Requirements
- BSCE or MSCE from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program
- 7+ years of experience as a practicing structural engineer
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Experience in writing and providing support documentation
- Technical knowledge of structural engineering, analysis, and design
- Experience with design techniques, tools, and principles
- Proficiency with software: MathCad, STAAD PRO, SAP2000, SAFE, RISA 3D and RISA Floor
