Job Description
Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to apply their knowledge of materials, structural analysis, and design processes to power transmission modifications and upgrades. This role involves analyzing structural issues, designing steel frames and concrete members, and providing technical guidance to clients. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with a designated in-office week.
Requirements
- BSCE or MSCE from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program
- 7+ years of experience as a practicing structural engineer
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and provide technical detail
- Experience with structural engineering calculations
- Ability to complete assignments within budget and schedule
