Structural Engineer 1 (Entry-Level) - Grid

This entry-level Structural Engineer position offers the opportunity to apply knowledge in materials, structural analysis, and design. The role involves working on power transmission modifications and upgrades with a client, and includes writing technical specifications, performing calculations, and reviewing work. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two days remotely.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Master of Science in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong academic background in material behavior, structural analysis, and structural steel/concrete design
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients
• Experience writing and providing documentation for structural engineering calculations
• Proficiency in design software (MathCad, STAAD PRO, RISA 3D, RISA Floor)
• Experience with design codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI 318)
• Excellent communication skills
