Job Description
This full-time, entry-level structural engineering position offers the opportunity to apply knowledge of materials, structural analysis, and steel design on power transmission modifications. The role involves detailed calculations, design, and client communication, with a focus on integrating projects into a broader engineering team. It's a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two days remotely.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Master of Science in Civil Engineering
- Strong academic background in behavior of materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design
- Ability to communicate effectively with the client
- Experience in writing and providing support documentation for structural engineering calculations
- Familiarity with design codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI 318)
- Proficiency with MathCad, STAAD PRO, RISA 3D, and RISA Floor
