Job Description
Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking a Machinist to join their Advanced Manufacturing & Design organization. This role involves machining work orders, drawings, and designs to create innovative solutions for the Savannah River Site, DOE complex and national security missions. The position requires knowledge of CNC equipment operation and CAD-CAM systems, along with material handling and quality inspection procedures.
Requirements
- Program, set up, and operate CNC equipment and CAD-CAM Systems.
- Inspect and test parts and equipment.
- Perform material handling equipment.
- Work around rotating equipment.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to perform the essential duties without explicit guidance.
