Accounts Receivable Specialist II

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist II to ensure timely collection of outstanding government or commercial healthcare insurance receivables. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying patient eligibility, updating patient demographics, conducting research on unpaid claims, and contacting payers to secure payment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least two years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable follow up
• Experience identifying billing errors and resubmitting claims
• Experience reviewing EOB and UB-04 forms to conduct A/R activities
• Knowledge of accounts receivable practices and medical business office procedures
• At least two years of experience with accounts receivable software
• Demonstrated ability to navigate Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office
