Job Description
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a Data Engineer who is passionate about solving problems and improving lives through data. As a Data Engineer at SEL, you will play a key role in supporting the Manufacturing division, developing robust data pipelines and reporting solutions, and informing data-driven insights that enhance product quality, streamline production processes, and protect critical infrastructure.
Requirements
- Design normalized, relational data models and/or dimensional models for OLTP and OLAP systems.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing stakeholders to build enterprise reporting models that support operational excellence and product reliability.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using cloud technologies to ensure accurate, consistent, and secure data flow from diverse sources.
- Administer and optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Build solutions using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Stream Analytics, SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI Premium.
