Job Description
Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a mid or senior-level software engineer with an existing DoD security clearance to support their Eglin Site Services effort. This role focuses on enhancing and transforming NCRC Enterprise software, tools, and hardware, requiring collaboration with engineers within government facilities. The engineer will be involved in modernizing NCRC systems and providing support to the modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering with 7 to 12 years of work-related experience
- Knowledge of software development practices (agile, Spiral, Waterfall) and programming languages
- Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.)
- Knowledge of Node.js, express server-side web development
- Proficient understanding of web markup (HTML5, CSS3)
- Strong understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
