As an Associate Principal or Associate Principal, Financial Planning at ScotiaMcLeod, you will contribute to the overall success of the company in Canada by providing financial planning support to a team of wealth management advisors. You will promote a client-focused culture, respond to the financial planning needs of clients, and work with internal specialists to develop personalized financial plans.

Requirements

• Title, Permit: CFP or IQPF (Quebec only)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Excellent understanding of the financial planning process, including investments, asset protection, retirement, succession planning, and tax
• Diploma in College or University
• Mastery of Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Excel
• Experience in global wealth planning
• Customer service experience with the possibility of providing financial advice
• High attention to detail and results-oriented attitude
• Good understanding of financial planning software; ability to model complex strategies and alternative solutions to integrate new changes and regulations
