Job Description
Scotia GBS is seeking a Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management to lead Bank-wide supplier and sourcing activities. This role involves collaborating with senior business units and key suppliers to drive value creation, innovation, and performance improvement. The ideal candidate will foster a competitive marketplace and enhance collaboration to reduce total cost of ownership and improve supplier performance.
Requirements
- Manage highly complex and critical Suppliers, including cross-business lines.
- Strong impact and influence capabilities.
- Understanding and alignment with Business Line, Strategic Sourcing, and the GPS Supplier Management team.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledgeable in financial services and regulations (e.g., OSFI, OCC, CFPB, UDAAP) and how they are applied to Third Party relationships.
- Ability to provide both technical and managerial leadership.
- Bilingual English/Spanish language skills (B2 English level).
