Job Description
Test Automation Specialist responsible for leveraging testing methodologies and practices, analyzing requirements, designing testing strategies, and coordinating across multiple streams and applications.
Requirements
- Associate degree or B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology or Equivalent Education / Work experience
- Test automation experience with 5+ years of hands on experience.
- Experience in analyzing the testing scope and developing work estimates
- Experience in creating Test Strategies/Test Plans.
- QA analyst with minimum 2+ years of leading testing activities
- API specific testing Experience with 2+ years of hands on experience
- UI/Database/Backend (mainframe) testing experience
- Experience working in Cloud applications
- Experience working with both Agile methodology and Waterfall SDLC
- Good Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
- White Box testing following QA principles, practices and methodologies
- Good understanding of UAT standards and methodologies
- Experience writing test documentation such as Test Plans, scripts and test results reports
- Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing automation standards
- Strong communication skills – explain things clearly to members of the lab and conduct stand ups
