CNC Machinist

We’re looking for a skilled machinist to help accelerate our vehicle production and R&D processes. As a CNC Machinist at Seasats, you will work alongside fast-moving design engineers and builders to bring drawings or whiteboard sketches into the real world.

Requirements

• 3+ years of machining and fabrication experience
• Experience machining composites
• Ability to machine accurately, but strong preference for moving fast rather than reaching ultra-high tolerances
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Experience with CAM software (Fusion360 or similar, required)
• Experience with part trimming and trim fixture design
• Experience prototyping with small (3 - 25 people) engineering teams
• Communication skills – with vendors and internal team
• Attention to detail – checking clearances and tolerances, creating drawings for suppliers, etc.
• Organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks.
