Job Description
Seaspan Victoria Shipyards is seeking motivated individuals to join their Paint Department as Painting Apprentices, which includes hands-on training and mentorship to prepare them for becoming a Red Seal Certified Painter/Decorator. The apprenticeship focuses on learning and applying basic painting principles, safe work practices, and exposure to various aspects of industrial painting.
Requirements
- High school diploma (Grade 12 or equivalent) required.
- Previous painting experience is considered an asset.
- Technical skills required: Ability to follow safety procedures and use PPE.
- Comfort working in industrial environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
