Job Description
SERV is seeking a Residential Counselor – Youth I/DD to provide therapeutic residential support to youths with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, providing behavioral support in a group home setting, and facilitating community integration through recreational activities and vocational skills training. The counselor will also ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working with I/DD individuals in a group setting
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
