Job Description
SERV, a leading behavioral healthcare provider in New Jersey, seeks a Residential Counselor – Youth I/DD to provide therapeutic support to youths with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves daily living activities assistance, behavioral support in a group setting, and participation in community integration, pre-vocational training, and data collection.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working with I/DD individuals (or one year of education and six months experience)
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Respect for children/adolescents and their families
