We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Facilities Officer to help us deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse police estate. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Requirements
- Carrying out general building maintenance and compliance checks
- Engaging with building users to promote good practices and prevent deterioration
- Recording defects using our digital maintenance platform
- Supporting relocations, refurbishments, and decommissioning projects
- Supervising contractors and ensuring safe working practices
- Maintaining postal services and supporting facilities management coverage across core hours
- Ensuring health & safety and statutory compliance across multiple sites
