The Office of Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) is seeking a Facilities Officer to support the maintenance and upkeep of police buildings in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The successful candidate will be responsible for general building maintenance, compliance checks, and engaging with building users to promote good practices.
Requirements
- Experience in a facilities or maintenance role is desirable but not essential
- Experience working in the public sector or hospitality industry is desirable but not essential
- Computer literate and confident in learning new systems
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- An understanding of building systems, maintenance practise, and regulations
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, professional, and customer-focused approach to duties
- Eager to learn with a can do attitude
