Job Description
The Manager - Food Services is responsible for coordinating the operations within the Food Services Department, ensuring patient/resident needs are met, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Meets or exceeds food service requirements
- Ensures appropriate numbers of competent staff are available
- Communicates with other healthcare team members and departments
- Monitors adherence to policy and procedure
- Problem-solves and makes decisions within areas of accountability
- Monitors performance of department staff
- Manages all aspects of department operations
- Responsible for communication and training of policies related to food services department
- Supervises and performs employee relations functions
