The National Sales Manager is responsible for leading the expansion of the company's national client base by cultivating relationships with internal stakeholders, new prospects, and existing customers. This role focuses on generating new business across tradeshows, corporate events, and meetings with general sessions, education components, digital branding, and full-service convention AV rental needs.
Requirements
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and industry engagement.
- Research, qualify, and develop profitable business opportunities that align with SAV’s strategic objectives ICW with sales leadership.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to create accurate, customized proposals that address client objectives and event requirements.
- Achieve and maintain annual sales revenue between $1.5M to $3M and consistently meet profitability expectations.
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry organizations by demonstrating commitment to their success and the value of the SAV partnership.
- Proven track record in growing new AV sales business within the events and tradeshow industry, demonstrating the ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Familiarity with Intellievent or similar order tracking software, with the ability to accurately enter and manage data within quoting software.
- CRM proficiency and familiarity with Salesforce as a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, compelling, and professional presentations and proposals.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset with the capability of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and result-driven mindset with a strong commitment to driving sales and developing client relationships.
- Proficiency with standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; or relevant experience may be substituted for formal education.
