Job Description
Sidley Austin is seeking an experienced IT Operations Senior Analyst with expertise in Major Incident Management (MIM) and enterprise operations. This role focuses on outage and incident response leadership within a 24x7 IT Operations Center, requiring oversight of proactive monitoring, governance, and operational improvements in hybrid on-premises and cloud environments. The analyst will also handle communication with both internal teams and global stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5 years of IT operations or NOC/ITOC experience
- 5+ years of proven leadership in Major Incident Management (bridge call facilitation, executive communications, service restoration)
- Advanced expertise with infrastructure monitoring suites (Splunk, Datadog, ThousandEyes, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, SolarWinds)
- 5+ years of hands-on technical knowledge across Windows, Linux, VMware, and Cisco networking
- Proficiency with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platforms
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Strong scripting capabilities (Python, PowerShell, VBScript)
- Exceptional communication skills
