Job Description
The Practice Group Manager for the M&A/Private Equity Global Practice Group (GPG) is a crucial role responsible for the development of attorney talent and management of attorney capacity. This position involves fostering workflow, supporting attorney development, and ensuring effective talent allocation within a complex structure. The manager will collaborate with multiple teams, and will balance workloads, sourcing work, and maximizing available resources to meet the GPG’s needs and goals.
Requirements
- J.D. and at least four years practice experience
- Proficiency in terminology and concepts in M&A and Private Equity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Resource Management/Scheduling Tools, Excel, and related applications
- Strong presence in a complex and time-constrained environment
- Proficient in negotiation and conflict management
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
