Development Engineer - Mechanical

We're looking for a Development Engineer - Mechanical to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll translate customer requirements into functional specifications, define mechanical designs, and apply design principles for cost, performance, and manufacturability. You'll also use tooling and process knowledge to design and adapt for fast-prototype verification and deliver design drawings and other mechanical documents. If you have a BSc/MSc in ME, 5+ years of practical experience, and proficiency in mechanical design software, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

• Translate customer requirements into functional specifications
• Define mechanical designs based on functional specifications
• Apply design principles for cost, performance, and manufacturability
• Use tooling and process knowledge to design and adapt for fast-prototype verification
• Deliver design drawings and other mechanical documents
• Release mechanical parts and tooling for product, process, and production release
• Support process engineer, development quality engineer, and supplier quality engineer to solve problems
