Job Description
SIHAMCO is seeking a talented Chef de Partie - Pastry to join their culinary team and specialize in traditional and modern Middle Eastern sweets. The role involves preparing, producing, and presenting a wide variety of pastries and desserts, maintaining quality and adhering to food safety standards. Training and mentoring junior staff is also part of the role.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen
- Proven expertise in traditional Arabic and Persian desserts and sweets
- Strong knowledge of sugar and syrup work, nut fillings, semolina-based pastries, and dairy-based confections
- Culinary diploma or relevant pastry certification preferred
- Good understanding of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders during high-volume periods
