Job Description
Sila is a next-generation battery materials company focused on creating a better lithium-ion battery with increased energy density and reduced size. They are seeking a Senior Controls and Automation Engineer to design, deploy, and improve industrial machine control software and electronics. The role involves collaboration with various teams and a focus on robust, well-documented code.
Requirements
- 5-8 years experience in a directly related field
- Experience deploying code on systems that interact with the physical world
- Experience designing HMIs and writing the underlying code
- Experience with high-level, object-oriented programming (C# or Python preferred)
- Experience with revision control software (Git preferred)
- Familiarity with IEC 61131-3 languages
- Experience with safety programs (TwinSAFE preferred)
