Job Description
Sila is a next-generation battery materials company focused on creating clean energy solutions. They are seeking a Senior Staff Quality Systems Engineer to champion a robust quality management system, leading initiatives and ensuring quality across their operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of quality principles, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and AS9100, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement and influence management decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant quality engineering experience within an established Quality Management System (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or GMP).
- Strong expertise in ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949.
- Extensive auditing experience, including leading internal audits and managing registrars audits.
- Proven ability to lead, execute, and document key quality processes.
- Demonstrated persistence and resourcefulness to overcome obstacles.
- Proficient use of advanced analytical tools (e.g., 8D, Fishbone/Ishikawa, 5 Whys, FMEA, statistical process control).
