Sr. Staff Accountant

Sila, a national leader in HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical sectors backed by Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, seeks a dynamic Senior Staff Accountant. This role is pivotal to the financial success of the company, particularly with ongoing M&A activity and growth. The Senior Staff Accountant will assist the CFO and Accounting department with financial statements, bank covenants, and year-end audits, focusing on acquired businesses in the NY/CT market. The role requires expertise in AP/AR, budgeting, and ERP systems, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a professional work environment.
• Experience in a central business/billing operation, leading a team of Accounts Payable Specialists.
• High level of confidentiality is required.
• High energy, excellent multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic are required.
• Excellent computer skills; including Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Excellent attention to detail required along with good listening/interpersonal, and communication skills
• Superior customer service skills.
