Senior Staff Accountant

Sila is a next-generation battery materials company focused on clean energy. They are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their accounting team, supporting day-to-day operations, financial statement preparation, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information. The role involves key month-end closing activities and technical accounting concepts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in accounting
• CPA preferred or actively pursuing
• Experience with standard costing and variance analysis
• Fixed asset and/or inventory experience preferred
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts
• Experience with large ERP systems preferred
• Proficient with Google Apps (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Physical demands of moving long distances and using office equipment.
